2. Alexander Love. Son of ? Love & Margaret Miller. Born 1718 in Antrim County, Ireland. Died Mar 1784 in Craven, York County, Pennsylvania. Buried in Bethesda Cemetery, McConnells, York, South Carolina. Occupation Owned a plantation and at the time of his death had 6 slaves.
The History of the Moore and Passmore Families states that after their marriage, Alexander and Margaret settled in York County, Pennsylvania. Sometime between 1760-71, they moved to what is now Yorkville, South Carolina. It was then in Fishing Creek, Craven County, North Carolina, then Fishing Creek, Craven County , South Carolina and now Yourk County, South Carolina.
Alexander Love was elected a member of the Provisional Congress of South Carolina about August 1775. he lived along Fishing Creek.
His tombstone reads: "Alexander Love, died March 1784, aged 66 years, a lover of mankind, a friend to his country".
He married Margaret Moore, daughter of Andrew Moore & Margaret Henderson Miller, Apr 6, 1743 in Pennsylvania ｮ9. Born 1719 in County Antrim, Irelandｮ9. Died About 1807 in Craven, York County, South Carolina.

Davis Horner emigrated to America from Ireland about the year 1760 and settled on a farm in Mr. Joy Township, York (now Adams) County, Pennsylvania
Many descendants of David Horner became active and influential members of Emmitsburg, formerly Tom's Creek and Piney Creek Presbyterian Churches. ｮ9
